Daughter of James B. Gamble and Josephine Morris. Cora Gamble Long was the wife of Judge Richard Call Long. Born in Tallahassee, Cora met Richard on one of his visits to his mother, Ellen Call Long, at The Grove. Though she and Richard briefly lived in Texas with Richard's father, Medicus, they ultimately chose to stay in Tallahassee. Richard and Cora rest at the Call-Collins Family Cemetery with their daughter, Reinette, but their son, Richard Call Long Jr., is buried in the Gamble family plot at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery, which houses other members of the Call and Brevard families.
