David Scott Lewis, 32, of Pine Valley Drive, died Thursday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
David was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lewis and Mr. and Mrs. William Pennington of Ogdensburg, N.Y.
He was a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology and a student at Craven Community College School of Nursing. He was employed at Wal-Mart.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Garber United Methodist Church with the Rev. E. Powell Osteen Jr. officiating. Interment will be at New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Mr. William C. Lewis of New Bern; mother, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Pennington Lewis of New Bern; sister, Penny Lynn Lewis Laudon and brother-in-law, Hans J. Laudon of Phoenix, Ariz.; uncle and aunt, Jim and Wilma Lewis of Ogdensburg, N.Y.; uncle and aunt, Wayne and Cindy Robinson of St. Peters, Pa.; uncle, Mike Lewis of Ogdensburg, N.Y.
