Mr. Boxell was born June 5, 1928, the son of L.E. and Nellie (Foust) Boxell. His wife of 62 years is Peggy Wells Boxell. They were married September 5, 1948.
He worked at the Olney Daily Mail in advertising for 22 years. He loved to play cards, hunt and fish. He kept the family, neighbors and friends in fish. He loved being with his family.
Mr. Boxell is survived by his son, Neil Boxell and his wife, Marla of Bedias, Texas; daughter, Kathryn Roby and her husband, Steve of Louisville, Ky.; daughter, Marcia Adams and her husband, Lonnie of Bassett, Va.; son, Alan Boxell and his wife, Angie of Columbia; grandchildren, Shawn (Jennifer) Boxell, Mandy (Jason) and soon-to-be baby boy, Jackson Lambert, David Boxell, Haley Boxell; step-grandchildren, Nikki Adams, Nathan Roby and Bethany Prater, Airin (Scott) Taylor and Lee Ferguson; step-great-grandchildren, Nea, Azria, Zylor and Searis Roby, Adden Garcia, Jacob Duncan, Joshua Reichardt and Zachary Heidelberg; sister-in-law, June Wells; niece, Susan Schwartz and a host of other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, L.E. and Nellie Boxell; brothers, Sam, Eugene, Homer and Cletus; sisters, June Haffner, Betty Thomas and Helen Caldwell; brother-in-law, Jim Wells; and nephew, Tony Wells.
