Poland, Dec 23.—The funeral of Miles Moore will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the home of his son, Fred Moore. The deceased was the son of Orson and Thirza Salisbury Moore, who were among the pioneers of Russia. On this farm Miles Moore and his twin brother, the late Milo Moore, were born August 8, 1839. Mr. Moore was a student at Fairfield Academy and for more than 20 years taught singing schools. In early life he united with the Baptist Church. He married Miss Sarah Beecher, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Beecher of Remsen. They moved to Poland from the Beecher homestead about a year ago. Besides his wife he leaves two sons, Frank of Kansas City, Mo. and Fred of this village, to whom their many friends extend sympathy. Utica Herald Dispatch, Thursday Evening, December 23, 1915
