Karl ("Dad") Roland, age 66, of Toledo, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008, at St. Anne-Mercy Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1942 in Luna Pier, MI to Mr. and Mrs. James A. (Mary Bell Metzger) Roland. He owned Roland Gas and Oil and was also employed at Jeep and served in the National Guard. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survived by his wife, Nancy Roland; son, Karl E. Roland; daughters Karla J. Wickham, Kathleen M. Roland, Kelly, Karl and Carrie Royster; 9 grandchildren and best friends, Barry, Rollin, Mike, John and Sandy and former wife, Barbara.
