Mrs. Ellen McEwan.—widow of David McEwan, a former resident of Canajoharie, died Wednesday at her home, 21 Trinity Place, aged 78 years and 11 months. Mrs. McEwan is survived by two daughters,-- Mrs. Charles Retallick and Mrs. C. Shineman of Troy; three sons, Edward of Fonda, Frank of Mohawk and Raymond of this city, with whom she resided; one brother Horace Getman of Hartwick; six grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren.
