LORIS -- Mrs. Almira Stevens Harris of Route 3, widow of Mack T. Harris, died Tuesday in a Loris hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Stevens Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris was born in Horry County and was a member of Cane Branch Baptist Church. She was a daughter of James W. Stevens and Mrs. Mary Boyd Stevens.
Surviving are: three sons, Buren Harris of Loris, James H. Harris of Columbia, and Arthur D. Harris of Warrenville; three daughters, Mrs. Leona Vereen of Warrenville, Mrs. Mary Mishoe of Loris, and Mrs. Helen Jones of Columbia; two brothers, Stanley Stevens and Buren Stevens, both of Loris; a sister, Mrs. Jeannette S. Tyler of McColl; 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
