Mrs. Winifred Cottrell Dies
Mrs. Winifred I. Palmer Cottrell, wife of Charles H. Cottrell, died at her home on Pendleton hill, North Stonington, Friday afternoon after a long illness.
She was born in North Stonington, the daughter of the late Cassius and Mary Billings Palmer, and resided there all her life. She was a member of the Pendleton Hill church.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two sisters, Cecile Palmer and Mary C. Palmer of North Stonington, and two stepsons, Charles H. Cottrell, Jr., and George M. Cottrell.
Funeral services were held from the Pendleton Hill church this afternoon. Interment
was in Pendleton Hill cemetery.
