Ella Stutts, 81, of Booneville, died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness.

Services were Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Lee Cole and Minister Jim Archer officiating. Burial was in Booneville Cemetery.

Mrs. Stutts was a retired florist and volunteer at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Booneville.

She was a member of Jacinto Church of Christ. She was the widow of Quay Stutts.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Dennis and Tommy Stutts, and one great-grandson, Tommy D' Amico.

She is survived by three daughters, Sue Potts and husband Herschel, Reba Hughes and husband Clarence, and Cathy Owens and husband Butch, all of Booneville; one son, Randy Stutts and wife Vicki of Booneville: three sisters, Vella Morris of Grenada, Jean Carpenter and Ann Woods. both of Biloxi: three brothers, Bob Parnell of St. Petersburg, Fla., Kenneth Parnell of Corinth and Jim Parnell of Townsend, Tenn., 12 grandchildren 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
