Armand, 97, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday in Humana Hospital Marksville.
He was a native of Mansura and a retired farmer.
Survivors include one son, Percy Armand of Echo; four daughters, Olga Clements and Georgette Caubarreaux, both of Marksville, Elise Perdeye of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and Zephyr Carroll of Poland; 14 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
