Mr. Baird passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011, in Tyler.
He was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Gilmer to William Thomas and Emma Lois Kountz Baird. Mr. Baird was a self employed carpenter and a Baptist.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Regina Baird of Mount Vernon, Jim and Cathy Baird of Big Sandy, Kelly and Lynda Baird of Mount Vernon, Barry and Jo Lynn Baird of Waxahachie; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeff Bailey of Mount Vernon; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janey Willis Baird.
