COLUMBUS, OH - Lloyd Kermit Watson, age 73, of Columbus, Ohio, formerly of Byron, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 22, 2011 at Arlington Court Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Watson was born August 11, 1937, in Cordele (Crisp County), Georgia to the late Daniel and Ethel Watson. Also preceding him death are his son, Joel Patrick Autry; brothers, Billy and Cecil Watson. -Mr. Watson was a retired concrete sales representative for the LaFarge Company, formerly the Cornell-Young Company after 40 plus years of service. He was also a former City Council member for the City of Byron. He served his country from 1955-1957 in the U.S. Navy as a Electrician's Mate aboard the USS Bremerton; and was a 1955 graduate of West Crisp High School, and a Boy Scout Leader for Byron Scout Troop #620.

His survivors include his wife, Nancy (Carter) Watson of Columbus, OH; children, Janice Allison of Jacksonville, FL and Jonathan (Cheryl) Watson of Juliette, Georgia; grandchildren, Phillip Allison, Hannah and Haleigh Watson; nephews, Danny (Teresa) and Richard Watson. He will be sadly missed by his family, including many brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, and many, many dear friends in Georgia and Ohio.
