Murder Victim. Born in Walla Walla, Washington. Daughter of Mary Smith. Alma was last seen on March 3, 1983, on Pacific Highway South. She was eighteen at the time of her disappearance. A murder victim of Gary Leon Ridgway, known as "The Green River Killer" who was responsible for the murder of 49 women in Seattle, Washington, between 1982 and 1984. He confessed to taking Alma to his home and strangling her there when he was arrested in 2001, he then left her body in the woods that same evening. Alma's body was found on April 2, 1984, in Star Lake area.
