Sharon was born February 11, 1939 in Rock Springs, Wyoming to David and Mabel (Collins) Mason. She moved to Abilene in the 1960's, eventually settling in Merkel. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Sharon worked for Lawrence Brothers IGA for many years, retiring November 2010. She loved to travel and loved her animals.
Survivors include her daughter Gale Hatley of Arlington; 2 sons, Scott Massey and wife Pam of Lewisburg, West Virginia, David Rogers and wife of Keller; brother, Glenn Mason of Colorado; daughter-in-law, Laura Rogers of Carrollton; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; and various other family members.
She was preceded in death by 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 son, Steven Rogers.
