Bernard L. ''Barney'' Bolger, 65, a retired Chicago police officer, died Friday in Hines Veterans Hospital, near Maywood, IL. Mr. Bolger was in the Army Air Forces during World War II. He joined the Police Department in 1956 and also worked part time as a funeral director in Chicago and Oak Park. He is survived by his wife, Joan; three sons, Kevin, Martin and Patrick; three daughters, Julie Adduci, Kathleen Keating and Bonnie; two brothers; a sister; and seven grandchildren. Mass will be said at 10:00am Tuesday in Ascension Catholic Church, 815 S. East Ave., Oak Park, IL.
