Patricia Jean Meador, age 69, passed away May 30, 2001 at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born January 16, 1932 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the daughter of Jewell Dean and Marvin Alonzo Burke. Married Robert Meador May 1, 1954, in Del Rio, Texas. Later divorced in 1971.
She was a graduate of San Jose State University in 1983 earning a degree in Business. Served in the U.S. Air Force and worked for the U.S. Geological Survey of Earthquake studies. In 1983 she moved to Fresno, California where she worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of California and retired
in 1996.
Survived by her sons, Stephen (Amy) Meador, Centerville; Richard (Tracy) Meador, Fresno, CA; grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremy, Kiana, Lauren, and Mikayla; sister, Ann Mahoney; and brothers Wade and Gerald Burke.
Friends may call Saturday, June 2, 2001 from 2- 4 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Services and burial will take place in Fresno, California.
