Earl B. "Brad" Branscom, 59, died April 24, 2011 at Amarillo, Texas. He was born February 7, 1952, the son of Bud and Norma Geist Branscom.
On October 12, 1974 he married Janet Melcher in Hutchinson. Survivors include his wife, of the home, two sons; Corey, Hutchinson, Callan, McPherson, a daughter; Cady Helsel and husband Jon, Iuka, his father, Bud, Turon, four brothers; Craig Branscom and wife Donna, Jeff Branscom and wife Tina, all of Turon, Gary Branscom and wife Pam, and Mike Branscom, all of Hutchinson, two grandchildren, Tyler Branscom and Alison Helsel. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Ronnie Dykes presiding. Burial will follow in the Turon Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday and 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
