Mrs. Edmiston died Thursday in Lake Jackson, Texas.
She was employed at the Davenport office of the Department of Social Services of Iowa.
Berneal Armstrong married Grover Edmiston in 1945 in St. Louis.
During World War II, she served in the Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service (WAVES) of the Navy. She was a member of the Eastern Iowa Chapter of Prisoners of War.
Survivors include her husband; daughters, Vicki Sullivan, Moline, and Nancy Willers, Lake Jackson, Texas; a son, Grover Jr., Houston; 10 grandchildren; one great-grand-child; sisters, Phyllis Beaman, Taylor, Wis., Eileen Dershem, Over-land Park, Kan., and Viola Marsh, Mercer, Mo.; and brothers, Eugene Armstrong, Booneville, Iowa, and John Armstrong, Van Meter, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Edmiston.
