By 1890,the timber industry would take 20-year old Marion to Washington state. It was there, he met and would marry the beautiful Lillian Eva Ball on 24 Dec 1899 in Lewis County, WA. Three children would be born to this union:
(1) Eva Merle Arrington, 1901-1952
(2) Kenneth John Arrington, 1903-1960
(3) Wilburn Clement Arrington, 1910-1982
Before the birth of Wilburn, Marion & Lillian would purchase and begin operating a dairy farm. It was here they would remain and make their home.
Marion was 67-years of age.
