She was a native of Rhea County, Tenn., daughter of the late Jesse and Maude McCullen Strader, retired from Gaston County Schools, having worked in food service at W.C. Friday Junior High and North Gaston High School, member of Community Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 58 years, Lewis Rogers; sons and daughter-in-law, Johnny Rogers, Gastonia, Tommy and Elaine Rogers, Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Mike Perkins, Dallas; brothers and sister-in-law, Vines Strader, Dayton, Tenn., Charles and Grace Strader, Rockwood, Tenn.; sister, Ruth Edwards, Spring City, Tenn.; granddaughters, Leslie and Randy Best, Mirafe Rogers, Bessemer City, Brittany LeeAnn Rogers, Erica Perkins, Dallas, Marylin Rogers, Charlotte; great-grandson, Austin Rogers, Bessemer City
