Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 3rd ed., 1886. Warren County

MRS. N. M. ANDREWS, Warren County, was born on her father's farm (where she now resides) January 13,1840. She is the daughter of T. H. and Susanna (Blewett) Andrews, natives of Kentucky. Her father died at the age of thirty-five years, her mother at the good old age of eighty-seven years; they were devoted Christians and members of the Old School Baptist Church. In 1858 she was married to James W. Andrews, a farmer. He was a soldier in the late civil war, under Gen. Morgan, and participated in most of the operations of that thrilling commander. This marriage resulted in the birth of ten children, seven of whom are living: Joseph H., Willim T., Bettie Ann (deceased), B. L., Jesse E. (deceased), Mattie O., James C., ---- T., Richard E. and Claude (deceased). Mr. Andrews was an active participant in politics, and was a Democrat.
