Mrs. Devlin was born Laura W. Beals on July 19, 1912, in St. Paul, Minn. She graduated from Ancker Hospital School of Nursing in St. Paul. She moved to Portland in 1936, where she was a nurse at the Portland Veterans Medical Center. She moved to Bend in 1959 and was a nurse at the Bend Memorial Clinic until retiring in 1974. In 1941, she married Donald E. Devlin.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mary; son, Bruce; sisters, Lois Waldock, Leona Whinnery, Marguerite Wendt, Randy Noelck and Dorothy Easterson; and one grandchild.
Interment in Lone Fir Cemetery in Portland. Remembrances to Meals-on Wheels. Arrangements by Niswonger, Reynolds & Tabor in Bend.
