BOONEVILLE - Verma Stacy, 83, died Friday, April 8, 2005, at the Landmark Nursing and Rehab Center after an extended illness. She was a member of the East Booneville Baptist Church and retired from South Central Plastics. She was the widow of Windell W. Stacy.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at the McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ricky Kelly officiating. Burial will be in the Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter, Maxine McElwain and husband, C.C., of Hot Springs, Ark.; her son, Dean Stacy and wife, Neva, of Tupelo; four sisters, Edith Stokes of California, Evelyn Wright of Booneville, Beverly Stockton of Lombard, Ill., and Ivy Walden of Monroe, La.; two brothers, Edward Davis and Jimmy Davis, both of Booneville; six grandchildren, Eric McElwain, Stacy Jones, Stephanie Duncan, Meredith Moss, Anna Katherine Grisham and Jason Stacy; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until service time today.
