Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 in Johnson Memorial Cemetery in Munday, Texas with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will be under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home in Munday, Texas.
Janis was born June 10, 1951 in Knox City, Texas. She was homemaker and was an Assembly of God. She "Loved her Grandkids."
Survivors: Two Sons: John Paul Browning of Sweetwater, Texas and Shawn Clark of Throckmorton, Texas; 4 Step sons: Teddy Clark and Ricky Clark, both of Woodson, Texas; Michael Clark and Donnie Clark, both of Throckmorton, Texas; One Step Daugher: Brenda Collins of Throckmoton, Texas; Two Brothers: Mike Collins of Big Spring, Texas and Robert (Sonny) Adams of Cloudcroft, New Mexico; Five Sisters: Louise Burt of Knox City, Texas; Nancy Ashley of Big Spring, Texas; Mary Christian of Big Spring, Texas; Claudia Anderson of Throckmoton, Texas and Cnythia Cole of West Columbia, Texas; Twenty-three grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and her partner: Bud Howeth of Haskell, Texas.
Visitation for family and friends will be Monday at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
