Corinne was born in New England Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Her mother, Lillian Bell GALLICHAN, was reported as residing at House of Mercy.

Corinne was adopted by our distant cousin, Charles Ernest 'Charlie' CARPENTER, and his wife, Jessie Bird BENNETT .

Corinne married Emory Clair WALKER on 21 August 1936 in Vancouver, Clark County, Washington.

WALKER -- Corinne Walker of Eugene, died June 23, 1989, at the age of 82. She was born March 11, 1907, in Boston, Massachusetts. She attended Oregon State and the University of Oregon, majoring in teaching. She retired as a Home Economics Teacher from the El Paso Technical High School. Corinne was a 6-year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, and a member of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her son, 2 granddaughters. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Mary Kathryn Cooley of El Paso, Texas and Sara Sue Zimmerman of Eugene, and a sister. At her request, no memorial services will be held. Contributions in Corinne's memory may be made to the Tri Agency Animal Regulation, 3970 W. 1st, Eugene, Oregon or to Cottey College. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to ENGLAND'S EUGENE MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
