Jesse Walker Had Been Resident for Eleven Years

Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, March 1- Jesse Walker who has been living in Mt. Pleasant about 1? years died at his home on South Main street Monday evening about 5 o'clock after an illness of several weeks. He was the father of Ross Walker, cashier of the Farmers and Merchants Savings bank of this city. He was born in Virginia in 18_8, but was brought by his parents to Des Moines county when he was a lad so that he spent most of his life in Iowa. His wife preceded him in death some five years ago. The children besides Ross who survive are Wesley of Seattle, Washington, A.U. Walker of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Stella Conkling of Los Angeles, Mrs. Hattie Flamm of New London and Harley of Mediapolis. The funeral services were held at New London today, Rev. T.S. Pool having charge of the services. Burial was made at Burge cemetery near New London.
