She was born April 3, 1905, in Wood County, a daughter of the late Charles W. and Docia Fleak Myers.
Mrs. Bibbee was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church having joined in 1934. She retired in 1967 from Corning Glass Works with 24 years of service and she was a former employee of the Parkersburg Silk Mill.
Surviving is one son, Earl Bibbee (Doris) (Herbie) of Bay City, Mich.; two daughters, Edith Dunbar (Carroll) and Evelyn Jones, all of Parkersburg; 14 grandchildren; 40 great-grrandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren and seven stepgreat-great-grandchildren; one sister, Vada Snyder of Parkersburg; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Edward Earl Bibbee in 1987; a brother, Herbert Myers; and a great-granddaughter, Lindsay Ruth Clay.
The family would like to express thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Parkersburg Care & Rehabilitation Center for the care and kindness provided during her stay there.
The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church at 10th Avenue and Thomas Street, south Parkersburg. Pastor David Stilgenbauer will officiate and entombment will follow at the chapel of Peace Mausoleum of Sunset Memory Gardens. The visitation will be at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth Street, Parkersburg, today from 6-8 p.m., on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and at the church on Friday one hour prior to the service.
