Ridge Spring, Feb 15 - Ridge Spring and community were saddened by the unexpected death of Wilmer G Gunter, only son of Dr and Mrs F B Gunter, which occurred at their winter home in Deland, Fla, Friday. Mr Gunter was ill only a few days.
He was a Christian young man of sterling qualities just entering upon life's duties and he will be greatly missed by his host of friends here and throughout the state. His gentleness in manner and great devotion to his family made him one of this community's most estimable young men. In his death the town loses a splendid young man.
Dying on his 24th birthday, he leaves a devoted father and mother and sister. The remains were laid to rest yesterday afternoon in Ridge Spring cemetery.
