ALLEN , H Gunner 305508 Canadian Field Artillery 21/12/1918 21 In the north-west part.Gunner Harold Allen enlisted with 32nd Battery, Canadian Field Artillery at Ottawa, Ontario on November 15, 1915. He served at Ypres, The Somme, Vimy Ridge, Passchendaele and Amiens. Wounded at Bourlon Wood on October 02, 1918, and invalided to England. Although his wounds had healed and he was ready for discharge by October 28, 1918, he fell ill with Influenza., complicated by Pneumonia. Harold Allen died on December 21, 1918 at Oxford Road Hospital, Reading.

Harold's brother was Sergeant Cecil Charles Allen.
