Nella Jane PARKER Swinford and Ora Frank WRITESMAN SWINFORD were the maternal grandparents (via Lois) of Don M. McGREGOR and Virginia, Dale E., Velma, and Verdine. After Nella's death, Frank remarried to Dora WIMER Tibbs Pribble (Swinford). Dora had had children by Tibbs. Nella was also a niece of Hannah PARKER Tuttle who was the paternal grandmother of Mrs. Don M. McGregor . MTM

Nella J PARKER Swinford (1877-1950), who spent most of her life in Illinois, had been born while her parents Caleb R. PARKER and Margrett HENSLEY Parker had been living briefly in Kansas. Nella J. PARKER married O.Frank SWINFORD (1876-1956) and they were again living in Oakland, IL, when Nella died, and O.Frank (who had been adopted by Swinford's in infancy) remarried. This photo was taken by Don M. McGregor (1930-1981) and Merle TUTTLE McGregor. It is not far from Hannah PARKER Tuttle, Nella's paternal aunt.

Stone faces west, and is in general area of Hannah Parker Tuttle's stone (Nella's paternal aunt) and Caleb R. "Tep" Parker's (Nella's father) stone. O.Frank Swinford remarried after Nella's death to Dora.
