Shirley Ann Duhon Atkeson, 57, of Bridge City died Monday, November 8, 1999, at Memorial Baptist Hospital in Orange.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at MacArthur Heights Baptist Church in Orange with burial at Autumn Oaks Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Lountze.
A native of Orange, she lived in Bridge City 10 years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Reeves and Brenda Matloc, both of Orange and Samantha Atkeson of Bridge City; sons Joe Alvin Atkeson of Bridge City and Jesse Atkeson, Jr. of OK; sisters, Lucy "Dale" Sonier of Orange, Virginia Arnold and Geneva Porter, both of Cleveland and Mickey Chance of Buna; brother,Melvin "Bo" Duhon of Orange; and six grandchildren.
