DAVENPORT - Elna A. Arp, 83, of Davenport, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Select Specialty Hospital in Davenport, surrounded by her loving family. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010, in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Trinity Visiting Nurses. Online condolences may be made at www.rungemortuary.com.

She was born January 3, 1927, in Eldridge, Iowa, the daughter of John and Elsie (Lamp) Rochau. On March 2, 1946, she married Peter W. (Bill) Arp in Davenport. He preceded her in death May 12, 1992.

Her hobbies included playing euchre, sewing, baking, and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Survivors include children and spouses, Linda and Bert Waddell, Ron and Vicky Arp, Crystal and Dick Lehman, and Dorie and Phil Benore; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marilyn, and her brother, Hermie.
