Leonard and Etta Elizabeth Davis were married August 12, 1903 in Muskingum County. They were the parents of five children, a boy who died in infancy and daughters, Alice Catherine, Edna May, Grace Naomi and Anna Louise. They also raised a granddaughter, Eleanore Jean following the death of her mother Alice.
Leonard and Etta took up permanent residence on Monroe Street. Leonard worked as a blacksmith at a tubeworks and later as a machinist and as a hostler (person who moves railroad cars) for the railroad. Etta kept house. The Millers were members of St Nicholas Catholic Church.
