Mrs. Betty Sue Eads Hallmark, age 80 of Winfield, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in the Golden Living Center at Winfield.

Mrs. Hallmark was born on March 3, 1928 in Marion Co. a daughter of Moody Augustus and Ada Beauchamp Eads; resident of Winfield most of her life; previously employed with Reltoc Mfg.; widow of Arlie Hallmark; and a member of Poplar Springs Primitive Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Harkins and Kathleen Wood; and four brothers, Wilburn, Jimmy, O.D. and Jackie Eads.

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn (Wayne) Atkins of Winfield; two granddaughters, Cindy (Mark) Nichols and Tracie (Martin) Graham; four great-grandchildren, Holland Moore, Lawson Nichols, Chloe and Erin Graham; two sisters, Elaine Tucker of Birmingham and Loree Green of Winfield; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Barry Eads, Gary Cordes and Clayton O'Mary were the officiating ministers. Active Pallbearers were Hugh Harkins, Richard Wood, Jim Wood, Tommy Green, Jody Green and Haley Dobbs. Burial followed in the Liberty Cemetery.
