Gilbert Aldrete
Gilbert Aldrete, 41, died Tuesday. He was born on May 6, 1933, and was formerly a Prescott resident. He was a member of VFW Post 3584, and Maintenance Construction Local 383. He was a veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his widow, Florence; four sons, Greg, Jim, Billy, and John; four daughters, Anna, Angela, Kathy, and Pam, all of Superior; three brothers, Joe, of Prescott, Al, of Tucson, and Ernie of Phoenix; five sisters, Sarah Litka, Theresa Espitia, Bertha Frias, all of Prescott, also Elizabeth Ramos and Josephine Jewitt, of Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews; and one step-brother, Tony Franco, of Prescott.
Visitation will be held at Griffths Mortuary in Superior on Friday at 3 p.m. Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday at the Church of St. Francis in Superior.
Mass will be said Saturday at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Fair View Cemetery in Superior.
