Caroline Lavinia Fowkes, wife of J. Glenn Fowkes died Tuesday, March 21, 1961 at her home, 334 Liberty St. Clarion. She was a daughter of W. Gordon and Sarah Minerva Jack McNutt, born Oct 15, 1888 at Rockville, Porter Twp. Clarion Co. Pa. She married J. Glenn Fowkes who survives.
She leaves two daughters;Mrs. Joseph (Sarah Kathryn) Kenny of Milwaukee Wis. and Mrs William (Ruth Caroline) Park, of Winburne. Also surviving are four grandchildern and the following brothers and sisters. E.V.McNutt of Clarion; J.J.
McNutt of Sligo; W.G. McNutt Grove City; H.N. McNutt of Clarion, Mrs.H.C.Decker New Bethlehem and Mrs. D.C.McMaster Clarion. A sister Maud S.and a brother S. Byron McNutt are deceased. She was a member of the Prebyterian church of Clarion, the Sisterhood Class of the Presbyterian Church and the order of the Eastern Star.
