GASTON--Frank Armstrong, a Gaston businessman, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday after a six-month illness. He was owner and operator of the Armstrong Men's Clothing and Shoe Store for 15 years. He was a lifelong resident of Gaston.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Pike officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery, west of Gaston. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
