HOLTZ Near this city, on the 28th ult., at the residence of her son. Mr. George Holtz, Mrs. Savannah Margaret Holtz, aged 81 years 7 months and 15 days.
The deceased came to this county from Maryland in the year 1834. She was therefore, at the time of her death, one of our most aged citizens. Her children are mostly settled around the city, and have by their industry and enterprising spirit, acquired comfortable homes. Mother Holtz was for many years a most devoted and consistent member of the Reformed church, and much beloved by all who knew her. She was buried in the Graveyard at the Egbert church, where her remains rest in the hope of a blessed resurrection at the last day.
