He leaves a daughter Mrs. Anthony S. Tomaszek of Windsor Locks, a sister in Russia and two grandchildren Sonia Tomaszek and Claire Tomaszek both of Windsor Locks, The funeral will be held Friday att 8:30 am at the Thomas W. WINDSOR LOCK, Conn. ---Andew Hys, 72, of 54 Whiton St., a local resident 46 years, died suddenly at his home Saturday afternoon. Born in Austria December 4, 1888, he came to this town in 1915, engaged in the carpentry business here many years and retired about five years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's parish. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Anthony Tomaszek of this town; a sister in Russia and two grandchildren. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:30 at Johnson funeral home, followed by a requiem high mass in St. Mary's Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
