DIED—On the 20th Dec. last, at Edgehill, Albemarle county, Va., the residence of her father, Thomas Jefferson Randolph, Mrs. MARGARETTE S. RANDOLPH, consort of the Hon. Wm. M. Randolph, of this place; leaving a husband and two infant children to mourn her loss. This excellent lady, kind and affectionate as a wife, fond and devoted as a mother, filled all the relations of life with a christians hope of immortality beyond the grave.

“Her hopes,
And fears, her strifes and loves of earthly kind,
All hush’d and o’er. Silent she sleeps unharmed.”
