Ervin Durant (Ted) Hewett age 81 of Supply, NC passed away on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center Whiteville, NC.
He was born on January 30, 1930 in Brunswick County, NC the son of the late Vance L. Hewett and Blanche Holden Hewett. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Wendy H. Geddings.
Ted was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed with United States Corps of Engineers with over 20 years of Services until his retirement. He atteded Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Juanita Holden Hewett of the home; a son, Keith Hewett of Bolivia, NC; a daughter, Rita Hewett of Supply, NC; two sisters, Jean Duncan and Linda Tripp both of Supply; two grandchildren, Brandon K. Hewett and Felicia G. Leggette; one great-grandchild, Lorelei Hewett.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 Saturday April 23, 2011 at Oak Grove Baptist Church by Reverend Johnny Hewett and Reverend Hoyt King officiating.
Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
