Paulina was the daughter of Henry & Wilhelmina Gutzmer. She was born in Germany & immigrated with her mother & siblings in 1889. She married Gustav Boeck in 1893 in Minnesota. They had 5 sons & 7 daughters. From Minnesota they moved to North Dakota then settled in Washington State. They lived in Lind, Ritzville & Centralia.
