Funeral services for Louise Nation, 98, of Palestine, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Bergman officiating. Burial will follow in Chambers Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. Mrs. Nation passed away Tuesday in Cartmell Home for the Aged. She was born October 18, 1912 in Tennessee Colony to Otis H. Holmes and Sarah Malinda Gore Holmes. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the LWML. Mrs. Nation was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lloyd L. Nation, son David Hosch, two sisters and four brothers. She is survived by daughters Helen Parton and Florence Owens, son James Hosch, sister Merle Beaudet and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
