Born July 28, 1922, in Kaylor, she was the daughter of Lank and Frieda Myers Fennell.
Mrs. Oesterling was a homemaker. She was a former 4-H leader and a former member of the TOPS Club
She was a member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a daughter; two sons and their wives; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Gene R. Oesterling, who she married Oct. 5, 1940, died Feb. 14, 2004. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
OESTERLING - Friends of Betty J. Fennell Oesterling, who died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Alden Towberman of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park.
