Harold Eugene Herbold, 63, of Edgewood, N.M., formerly Colorado Springs, Colo., passed away at his home on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009. Harold was born on March 24, 1946, in Seguin, Texas to Harry and Annie (Grimm) Herbold. Harold lived in Edgewood since April 2009. Harold was currently a software engineer at Northrup Grumman. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Sharon (Smith) Herbold. Harold and Sharon were married on Dec. 23, 1967. He is also survived by his son, Matthew Herbold and his wife Jean of Vancouver, Wash.; daughter, Lauren Webb and her husband, Jerry of Kensington, Kansas; sister, Hilda Herbold of Seguin, Texas; and three grandchildren, Shane Webb, Shaylin Webb and April Webb all of Kensington, Kansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Annie Herbold, and brother Harvey Herbold. Services are pending in Colorado. In lieu of flowers, donations my be made to the American Heart Association.
