TOWN OF FAIRFIELD – Lynn M. Hodge, 53, of Cole Road, died on July 17, 2010 at her residence, following a courageous battle with breast cancer.
Lynn was born on April 9, 1957 in Utica, a daughter of Eileen (Siemers) Barlow of Poland and the late Robert H. Barlow. She graduated from Poland Central School with the Class of 1975. In her earlier years, Lynn was employed as a foreman at Mele Manufacturing in Utica. More recently, she worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Valley Health Services, Herkimer, for sixteen years. Lynn was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include her mother, Eileen Barlow of Poland; her fiancé, Toby Tobin of Fairfield; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Gaita Barlow of Carmel, IN and William and Marianne Barlow of Scottsdale, AZ; three step-children, Toby Tobin II and his wife, Heather of Herkimer, Melissa Lawrence of Frankfort and Joseph Tobin and his wife, Tania of Ilion; five step-grandchildren; two nieces, Macushla Barlow and family and Joanna Barlow, all of IN; two nephews, Daniel Barlow of VT and Jonathan Barlow of AZ; one aunt, Edna Barlow of Deerfield; and many cousins. Lynn was predeceased by her father, Robert Barlow on March 19, 2008.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, Middleville in September to be announced. Inurnment will take place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Poland. There are no calling hours.
