Amanda Jane Keil, 92, formerly of Route 2, died at 5;50 a.m. Friday (Oct. 8, 1993) in Sunset Home where she lived.
Born Dec. 12, 1900, Mrs. Keil was the daughter of Robert and Martha Ellen Elston Lowary. She married Carl Keil Oct. 25, 1942, in Bluff Hall United Church of Christ. He preceded her in death April 13, 1970
Survivors include two step-daughters, Mrs. Paul (Inez) Neuser of Quincy, and Mrs. Charles (Ruth) Seckman of Simi Valley, Calif.; six step-grandchildren, William Neuser of Payson, Keil Burwinkle of Palmyra, Mo., Michael Seckman and Mrs Peyton (Lori) Clover, both of Simi Valley, Calif., Mrs. Ed (Mary Ruth) Calcaterra of Chesterville, Mo., and Mrs. David (Jan) Oleneck of Pasadena, Calif.; and one sister Mrs. Rose Rabe of Sunset Home.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister, one stepdaughter, and one step-granddaughter.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Zehender Robinson Stormer Cookson Funeral Home by the Rev. Kathy Porter. Burial will be in Bluff Hall Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until time of services at the funeral home.
