Genevieve Arline Hanson was born October 20, 1915, in Burke, South Dakota, the daughter of Hans O. and Mary (Rasmussen) Hanson. She married Paul Conrad Vogel on January 1, 1934, in Burke, South Dakota and were later divorced. She married Harry Frederick Blecker in 1962, in Moline, Illinois. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1973. She was employed as a cashier at Eagle Foods from 1965, until her retirement in 1981. She was an avid mall walker at North Park Mall for 20 years.
She is survived by four sons, Robert (Neola) Vogel of Bettendorf, Dale (Anne) Vogel of St. Louis, MO, Duane (Dene) Vogel of Columbia, SC, and Richard (Sonia) Vogel of Davenport; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Dorothy Brown of Boise, ID.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and two sisters.
