Manthus McAtee

CADIZ, Ky. - Services for Manthus McAtee, 81, of Cadiz will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cadiz United Methodist Church with the Revs. John Weber and Steve Spitzer officiating. Burial will be at East End Cemetery.
Mrs. McAtee died at 3:08 p.m. Wednesday at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville.
She retired as food service director of Trigg County schools and was a member and past president of the Kentucky School Food Service Association. Mrs. McAtee was a member of Cadiz United Methodist Church, where she served as Sunday school director and teacher and church treasurer. She was a 4-H leader and a member of the Quilters Guild and Pennyrile Emmaus Community.
Surviving are her husband, Robert McAtee; two daughters, Paula Maddox and Mary Jane "Sissy" Stewart, both of Cadiz; one sister, Lucy McAtee of Cadiz; two brothers, Hugh G. Martin of Bernice, La., and L.I. Martin Jr. of Cadiz; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Her parents were Lethel Irvin Martin Sr. and Ethel Larkins Martin.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Goodwin Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Cadiz United Methodist Church Building Fund, 214 Main St., Cadiz, KY 42211.
