He owned a lumber yard. He married Sarah Allison on Nov 26, 1918 in Pulaski , VA Sarah was born on Mar 27 , 1890 and died on March 7, 1989 in Galax , VA. They had one daughter Mary Louis Early 1920-2014.
2. Dr. James Louis Early born Sep 14, 1876 in Carroll, Va and died on Sept. 1, 1945 in Radford, VA. He had a daughter with Sarah Alice Hurst but never married. Sarah was born on Aug 1866 in Wythe, VA and died on Jan 19, 1947 in Pulaski , Va. Their daughter was Neva Belle Hurst . She was born on Sept 30, 1893 in and died on Oct 2, 1964 , in Wythe County, VA. She was raised by her grandparents William and Mary Early.
He was a medical doctor and practiced mainly in Saltville and Radford, VA . He practice in his home. Later in life , he married Melita Rorer Wilson on June 29, 1910 in Radford, VA.
3. Captain Charles William Early born on Dec 5, 1878 and died on May 2, 1939 in Galax, Va . He was a Captain in the United Stated Navy He never married.
4. Harry Edward Early born on Apr 27 1890 in Carroll ,VA and died on Sep 20, 1947 in Galax , VA. He was the fourth son. He married Lucy Carrico on Oct 26, 1916 in Carroll, VA. She was born on July 8, 1890 and died on Nov 27, 1927 in Galax , VA They had no children.
5. Sarah Early was born on November 17, 1893 in Carroll, VA and died on Dec 9, 1954, at the age of 61. She never married.
